Atelier PDF is a multilingual, free and privacy-friendly web tool designed to simplify working with your PDF documents. Merge, reorder and extract pages, compress, recognize text (OCR), sign, add a watermark or page numbers: everything happens in your browser, even offline once the tool has loaded.

Draw or import your signature (or initials), then place it on the page. It is a plain image placed on the page, not a certified electronic signature.

Privacy

Your files are processed on your device only: nothing is uploaded, stored or analyzed on a server. Your preferences (language, theme, donation reminder), the signatures you choose to remember and, on the website, a copy of the tool for offline use stay in your browser and are never sent to us. No account, no cookies, no audience-measurement or advertising trackers. Donations, if any, are made outside the tool.

Terms of use

By using Atelier PDF, you accept these terms:

  • Use the tool only on documents you have the right to modify, and in compliance with the law. You alone are responsible for the documents you produce and for how you use them.
  • Altering a document to deceive others, such as an identity document, a diploma, an invoice or a ticket, is punishable by law. Atelier PDF does not make any edit undetectable: a change can be spotted by examining the file, and the original text may remain in it.
  • A signature placed with Atelier PDF is a plain image, not an electronic signature in the legal sense.
  • The tool is provided free of charge, as is and without warranty. Check every document you produce before using it and keep a copy of your originals. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher is not liable for any damage arising from its use.
